so yeah
i've been worrying about money lately, spending lots of time with Lillie.
i don't flip out about it too bad, but i finally have over $300 to my name when i have to spend over 100 on bills, and i don't think i'm gonna make it to otakon this year :/
Lillie had a family issue and had to go up to MA, for a whole like, day and a half, which i think it L-A-M-E and a total waste of cash, cos she has to work which means she's flying back days ahead of the rest of her family, putting her at spending $300 on a one way ticket. mreh. plus she's never flown before, and i have to hope that i have sunday off or go in late so i can be there at the airport for her when she gets in, cos we thought she was landing at like 1am, but its 1pm.

i just need to save money, and not going on a 1000 mile week long road trip (where i can't work and will be losing money during that time) would be great for that.
i have another vacation option open that wouldn't cost nearly as much. like, 2 hours in a car instead of 8, and free housing. :O dad's GA house. might end up doing that yet...
myuh. other than me feeling kinda down about otakon, and pissing all my money away because i always make headway just in time for all my bills to land on me, followed immediately by a car explosion (which reminds me my inspection/registration renewal/insurance is due and my check engine light is still on from my new ignition switch so i cant get the inspection done which basically fucks me FUUUUUUUUCKKKK)i'm actually doing pretty well. enjoying summer off from school, just wishing i had more hours. tho joe did leave for CLT this week, so hopefually we can cannibalize his hours and not rehire anyone... that would be nice, i mean we already have me and 5 other people, 4 of whom have at least partial managerial authority, and never seem to have more than 2 in the store at a time, half of em are full time and there all day anyway.
it'd be nice to have more money, and even 10-18 hours a week split 3 ways would be better.
stupid corporate. i mean we're like the highest volume store in the district and we always seem to get gyped on hours. not to mention we're overflowing with product. seems every time we ship out stuff and have room we get a bigger shipment in return. lol :p on a brighter note, yesterday i was workin and our DM was in most of my shift. he said he really liked how consistant my numbers were and asked what i was going to school for and if i was ever interested in being a senior game advisor or something like that. i've never been one to flip out when higher management comes by, but it's just cool to me to hear someone above my own immediate boss talk me up like that o_o lol
i didn't mean to turn this into a gripe, but i guess it headed that way. sorry :/
anyway i need to clean up and decide if i wanna play xbox or work more on my eZ-8 model... i go in at 3 today and work a whole 6.5 hours :O lol
