Sibling Humor
Random little tidbit. My mother is pretty good at feeding us. She asks us whenever we're hungry, and gives us food money when we go out to do her errands. She usually asks us if we want something to eat, or tells us to go grab some food. It can be a little neurotic, but for the most part, is very good natured and helpful (I like food).
My brother gets annoyed by the bothering of the food and all. He hasn't eaten since he got up (like, 3 hours ago), and gets very annoyed/angry at my mom because she's asking/telling him to grab some food ("every five minutes" - brother). On his way out the door to go do his stuff and pick up bread for my mom, he is quoted as saying thus:
Mom: "Look, just take the 20, get my bread, and grab some dinner for yourself."
Brother: "Im not hungry already! Why are you always trying to feed me?!"
Why are you always trying to feed me.
If that line alone is not comedy gold, I don't know what is.
