Bremen is currently DROWNING.
It rained all night and morning and by now almost all tunnels and underbridges are flooded, just as some streets. Car are stuck all over the town and some trams are not running at all, as the tunnels etc. they'd have to use are a no-go area right now _._
I picked up a colleague from the train station as the trams to the university didn't run. Took me 45 minutes instead of 10 minutes.
The main road connecting the university area and the city is flooded too and all cars had to find some other way to get there.
Picture of the flooded underbridge will follow tonight. I've never seen THAT much water on a street. I guess the water in the underbridge must have been 1.50 m - 2.00 m high _._ (~6 ft)
Basically, the whole town is a massive traffic jam ^^;;;
