One afternoon/evening in Bremen
Yesterday I've met nfu_nfu for the first time.
We had decided to meet at 5 PM in front of the store I wanted to get my new glasses from - but as we both had understood "in front of" in a different way, it turned out to be rather 5:15 PM until we found each other ^^;;;
I tried on some glasses and then finally one of the employees in the store had time for us and we found a nice model quite soon. It's got no frame (and Vanny took a pic of it with her cell phone... let's see if I can upload that later on).
Already before I had decided for myself that I wanted to get this special glass in my glasses that darkens by itself if the UV-radiation get higher, I just didn't expect them to be THAT expensive _._ Next month I won't put money in my Japan-fund but buy those glasses ^^;;; (As this effect only works outside, I still needed to buy simple and normal sunglasses to drive my car. Those were only 20 € ^^;;)
Then we headed off to the copy shop, gave them the T&T calendar to scan a few pages. They promised to get it done until 8 PM.
We went to the next McDoof for dinner and passed by millions of Dutch people who were in town for a soccer game. Don't ask me how Bremen played yesterday, I didn't check ^^;;;
I was amused that I could still understand a lot of what the guys next to me said in the store when bought our food, as I haven't been speaking Dutch for well over seven years now - but it was a simple discussion and their dialect wasn't bad at all.
So, after surviving the Dutch soccer fans we sat down on the stairs of the church (was it the church?) and had our dinner, talking about JE, looking at one photobook I had brought with me. Ah, and a bit Tenimyu talk too ^________^
Went back to the copy shop... the guy there showed my the scans, realised that one page was missing and of course it was the one most important to me ^^;;; He scanned that page too and then I paid. I will upload those pages tonight ^^ (I had them scan only 8 pages as it wasn't that cheap...)
Uhm... then I showed nfu_nfu the T&T calendar in all it's glory for the first time for real before we went home (Tsubasa still can pass as a woman ^^;;;)
It was a really nice day *huggles Vanny* (The glasses still are EXPENSIVE though _._ )
EDIT: Just checked the results for the soccer game. UEFA-cup. Werder Bremen vs. AZ Alkmaar (4:1) Yeah ^^
