Jane and Sarah put together the Hot Blogger Calendar as a response to a Playboy article about "Hot Bloggers." (All female, of course.) What started out as a sort-of joke turned into a real thing as it got picked up by curious media outlets around the country.
So it's still a joke - just a real one. And slackmistress has been nominated. Yes, it's silly, but yes, she is going to beg for your votes like a grubby publicity whore. (Has she ever pretended to be anything else?)
The voting goes 'til August 31st, but you can get that out of the way by voting now! You can vote here - she's #10 on the list under "slackmistress."
Also, Mr. Boy is nominated. So while you're over there anyway, you can vote for him here! (He's under "be the boy.")
