steampunk stream of conciousness
A trip to target, for shoelaces -> I should get new longjohns -> they are out of longjohns, I wonder if they have cotton leggings -> ooo, cotton leggings on the sale rack -> ooo, lots of stuff on the sale rack -> nice, a purple plaid short victorian style cape for $11 (Score!) -> Now I need to make a steam punk outfit (oh crap, more sewing) -> wait, steampunk is fantasy, not history, I can use leather -> I need purple leather -> finally, something to do with my old purple leather skirt that never fit and was ripped when I got it (Score 2!) YAY. -> I need new glasses -> I should make steampunk goggles with my prescription -> complicated plan for purple, prescription, close up, far away and magnifying goggles. More Yay, purple steampunk. All because I needed shoelaces. (of course the shoelaces are the quick way of getting ties for my SCA outfit that I am still sewing . . . -> and now that I have time I should make better jewelry -> I need more black pearls -> off to the craft store -> oh no, I might find something else I need to do)
