Japan

I guess it's about time I post something relating to this news. I know many people on my f-list who are living in Japan and who have friends in Japan on my f-list. I really, really hope and pray that everyone is safe and well. I know about 800-1000 people and more lost their lives because of this natural disaster. I was watching the news last night and everything I saw - my heart just dropped. My heart dropped from seeing the earthquake and watching shelves and desks and workplaces shake so hard that the employees can't stand up, and then seeing just one huge wave of water destroy millions of houses, homes, and people with just one sweep of a wave.

My heart and thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is in Japan, has family and/or friends in Japan. Along with all the other countries/states that were hit with the aftershock of the natural disaster.

I know most of you already know where to go to help donate but here is the website for The Japan Earthquake and Tsunami fund, there is also a donation below that one called: Disaster Relief for Countless Crises. This donation helps children help prepare and deal with natural disasters. As an education major, this donation means a lot to me as much as the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami fund. I plan on donating to both very soon.

(my link button isn't working for me right now for some reason so you'll have to C&P for now.)

Also! If any of you guys are Blink-182 fans, Mark Hoppus is selling a lot of his stuff to help donate to Japan. Here is his Twitter. He will link many things to his ebay items he's selling! http://twitter.com/#!/markhoppus

(sorry about the link situation again.)

I hope everyone has a better weekend.
