I have a good friend who is moving to Texas in May, and one of the things I'd like to do as a going away gift is to make a CD of songs that mention Texas (and/or Dallas). I've already got these:
"God Blessed Texas" by Little Texas
"All My Ex's Live in Texas" by George Strait
"Somewhere Down in Texas" by Jason Boland
"Texas (When I Die)" by Tanya Tucker
"Texas Tornado" by Tracy Lawrence
Anyone got any others??? They don't have to be country songs, it is just the genre that has an affinity for the state...
