The below is a picture of a my soon-to-be 2 year old nephew hamming it up for the camera
in front a real Galapagos Giant Tortoise. He now associates birthdays with cake and
indicates that he wants to cake by chanting in a sing-song 'happy to you, happy to you.'
My sister will let him have one slice mainly because she doesn't want getting a tummy ache
and then be up most of the night. His b-day is Thursday, the 3rd of September.
In other news. My Minnesota Twins are now out of a holding pattern in third place in the
American League Central and have managed to climb over the Chicago white Sox and as of this
posting trail the Detroit Tigers by 3 1/2 games.
I am also grateful to be over with the working seven days in a row marathon and will now
have two days off. The question is whether I will get this coming Friday off and then work again Sunday, have labor day off and then work another 5 days in a row. I was dead tired before heading to the Yangztee resturuant for dinner. Better now that I'm home.
Will be watching Warehouse 13 tonight. I am looking forward to the next episode of
Project Runway, Season 6!
