Okay, here goes, rolls up virtual sleeves and runs gleeful eager hands together.
Yuletide is my favorite small fandom fic exchange and I am very excited to see what stories
might come out of the challenge this year.
First off, thank you, whoever you are, who got matched up with one of my requests. I don't
know which of these tiny, obscure fandoms that we got matched up with, but I will be extremely
happy for a fic in any of these, and I do many any.
For the types of things that I like in a story that includes, team ensembles for fandoms that
include a large array of characters, I like character studies, world-building, interaction,
and action/adventure. I also like looks at events both past and post established cannon.
for my requests, the details and the characters I've included are guidelines, not hard and
fast rules.
Request #1 Tracy Hickman/Margaret Weis: Rose of the Prophet.
You can feature the main players, a tale from the point of view of the humans, or the
Djinn, or just about anything set in this verse, will make my very happy.
Request #2 Tad Williams, Memorym, Sorrow, and Thorn.
As I stated in the details when I made my request, I would like something that features
any of the character, human or otherwise, as fascinating as find Jiriki and his people,
the Sithi; I think I would like the focus to be on some of the other characters from
Josua, to Morgenes, Simon, Isgrimmunr, Cadrach, Eolair and/or Magewin; or even Binabik;
so those listed were always some of my favorite characters from the books.
Request 3: Gargoyles (comic or Tv) I love this; in fact it was my very first love in terms
of both fandom and fanfiction. I love all of the characters. I haven't seen very much of
the comics timeline, but if you feel the need to include that in addition to any material
from what actually aired on television, please, feel free to do so. I would prefer gen to
slash, but again, go with what feels right for the story.
Request 4: Robotech: Macross
My favorite characters from this fandom are Max and Miriya Sterling, and I love character
centric stories and team action/adventure.
Again, thank you, Yuletide writer, and I know that I will love whatever you do come up
with!
