a new place, a new frontier
Well, i am officially an IWU student. i just got back from my very first class ever at iwu...funny that it was weight lifting:) things are good so far and i think i will like it here. hopefully going to classes will get me aquainted with alot of people and soon i will have a group of friends to hang out with....well, i mean a bigger group of friends. i do have my sister and some of her friends that i know and can chill with. im starting to get to know some of the guys in my appartment more. there is this one guy named scott and he is totally insane and alot of fun. we played euchre last night (and got destroyed) and that was fun. right now im just checking mail and writing in here before i grab a shower. i dont have class again til 1:40 so i will have time to just relax, do my devotions for the day, maybe play some canasta online or something, or maybe see what my sister is up to. we'll see. this whole being in a new place is kind of weird. i didnt sleep that great last night, but i will hopefully get to bed at a decent time tonight and sleep better. my roomie seems to be a late night type of guy, but i didnt even hear him come in last night so its all good. i guess the biggest struggle for me right now is being away from Laurren. i know that things will work out, but it wont be easy. it was really hard to leave yesterday, but now that i am here and getting settled in, i think all will be ok. anyways, the shower is literally calling my name so i better go. i will catch you all lata!
