Not quite what I usually post and oddly specific, here is a PersonalJava tutorial to help people getting started with developing Java applications for old Handhelds.

2.: Should it really be two calls to "show();"? Not really the Java person (except for drinking it) but that looks strange.

1. true, in fact I told Wordpress to not even post it on LJ, as I doubt anyone who reads my LJ cares, yet it posted it twice for some reason.
2. also true! I spent quite a while to get the code formatting right with Wordpress (don't look at the html, it's awful), because Wordpress always autoformats and messes up things. I guess I accidently copied something with it. Of course show() only has to be called once!
