Some time ago I bought
The Clientele's Strange Geometry and really liked it. Not overly so, and never did I obsess over it. I just thought it was good.
Having not listened to it in awhile, I put it in as I drove home from work one sunny evening. It made the perfect soundtrack for a drive home at dusk. I did it again tonight and it felt absolutely magical. I regret missing their set when they opened for Spoon last year.
But here they are, playing in Seattle on Monday. I have the night off, so I think I'll go, if it hasn't sold out yet. I've been hearing good reviews of their new album, so if I like how things sound on Monday I'll be picking up a copy of that too.
Go to their
MySpace page and listen to "Since K Got Over Me."

I've been riding my bike a lot, inspired by my trip to Amsterdam.

Very ready for
High School Musical to start. We've been running these songs over and over again but only when we start playing with the kids will things really be exciting. That, and playing at The Moore.

Is everyone having fun at Sasquatch? I can never go... seems like I have a conflict every year.
