just a bit of enlightenment
I taught myself how to meditate after mimicking Joel Murray's character "Norris Weldon" on the short-lived sitcom "Grand."
At 12, I wasn't aware the act of "not thinking" was "meditation" which made it this ineffible state i'd practice whenever i'd get overwhelmed by whatever things overwhelmed 5th graders. Mostly it was to drown out my parents fighting and all the dumb, cruel bullshit my neighbor would do to me.
