Library Card
Got a library card today - I was surprised that it was only $12. I do have to say that the local branch is the piddliest little library I've seen short of Keremeos. As Keremeos has 4000 households, that's not saying much.
The library website - which is used internally as a catalog search, is also ABSURDLY slow. Like, a minute a search slow. So I'll just do my holds from home thank you, where I can do something else between waiting.
Got the newest In Death novel - woo! There's just a few books I've got to have the hardcovers for. The rest, I will check out from the library now and buy in paperback when they come out. Which means I don't have to wait long to read Wen Spencer's latest.
Also have to check out some books on JSP and Ruby on Rails as I'm going to be working with one or both sooner or later.
Books is goot. Excuse to try out more programming languages? Doublegoot!
