Witch Hunter Robin: Pray The Prayer (R)

PRAY THE PRAYER

You need to concentrate better, he said.
I can concentrate, she'd retorted.
The barest glimmer of a smile. Prove it.
"Ave Maria, gratia plena, D-dominus tecum."
Robin prayed the rosary every day as a child. But not like this -- naked on a bed, while her partner/lover/guardian lay beside her, unashamed, hands on her body.
"Benedicta tu in mulieribus--"
Her breath caught for a moment, as Amon bent his head and nuzzled at her breast.
"Et -- et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus."
His fingers slid down over her belly, almost surprising a laugh from her. Then his hand was between her legs, tracing senseless symbols on her thighs until she parted them.
"Sancta Maria, Mater Dei--"
He kissed her breast one more time, then shifted so he lay between her legs.
"--ora pro nobis peccatoribus--"
Ah, God, his mouth--
"--nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae, amen."
She allowed herself one shuddering breath before starting again. One more Hail Mary, and then they would see who couldn't concentrate.
