Perfect.

For the first time, Kurt was asking him to do something that even he hadn't had the guts to do, and Dave thought it was a pretty fucking unfair thing for Kurt to ask of him.

I really liked this part, because I had similar thoughts about that part of that scene. I think Kurt just got caught up in the "lets stick it to them," rush of it all, but Kurt shouldn't have put him on the spot like that.

Yes, as much as I love Kurt, and bled for him in this episode, I thought it was a total dick move for him to expect Dave to come out in front of everyone like that. Particularly when he'd just seen firsthand how homophobic McKinley still is. But like you say, I think he just got caught up, and you know Kurt - that boy loves a grand gesture. :)
