"Were the World Mine" - the perfect song for Kurt (and Dave?)
I adore this song and was just listening to it, again thinking how very perfect it would be on Glee. The setting of a high school musical, the use of the football team as dancers, the lead played by an etherial voiced nymph, the big jock on campus? OK, so Kurt isn't exactly pining away for Dave (vice versa, maybe...), but still, so many things line up.
And after hearing "As If We Never Said Goodbye," my conviction that Chris would sing the hell out of this song - I dare say even better than Tanner Cohen did - I just want, want, WANT them to give him this song on the show!!!
Maybe next year when he and Blande fall apart and Dave is ready to come Out and... [sigh]
