I love the feeling of ending a weekend more tired than when beginning it. Well, not really, especially since summer school makes all feelings of fatigue more acute. I have not had a nap yet this summer, which is sad. :-(

But this weekend was fun, and thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday! (I <3 you all.) My parents and godparents and I all went out to Greasewood Flat on Friday, a really awesome biker-ish bar/ outside eating place. (Unless you have been there it is difficult to describe. We have been going there for my birthday since I was born.) My godbrother decided I needed a drink, so he bought me a jack and coke and I drank it right under the ID checker's nose. I felt anti-establishment. Pretty fun. And Madonna's roadie group was there having burgers and drinks, and they were all very nice. With British accents.

Saturday was ok as well, although as a whole I can't remember what happened. Oh yes! Some martial arts, swimming and watching movies. Fun, except for a near run-in with a scorpion (= not so cool)

My godparents then called us and told us to come over to their house on Sunday, because their best friend from Japan was in town and had showed up, so we had an impromptu party with crab legs, beer-can chicken, ribs, a beer keg, and extremely expensive sake (Yasu had to keep it cold for the entire trip, which included a plane trip and sojourns to Kingman and other turquoise mines. That is dedication right there.) Needless to say, I needed a little pick-me up in the form of vending machine cappucino in the middle of summer school today. (Those little vending machines with coffee and stuff are frickin awesome!)

I suppose that is my life, for any who care. Not that you have to. But cool if you do :-)
