So... I highly recommend putting off any and all papers you may have to write and spending a day at Disneyland (or it's equivalent ... even though it has none... =D
I went yesterday with Sophie, Julio, Jessica and Steven, and it was so amazing. And I went on rides I never would have gone on when I was a kid, like Tower of Terror and California Screamin' and Space Mountain and things like that. And it was so much fun! I can't believe we were there for 12 hours. The rides are so much better as an older person, they woulda scared the hell outta me when I was little. The longest line was only 45 minutes, too, and that was Space Mountain cuz it just reopened. ... We came up with very creative ways for entertaining ourselves in line, too, which I am sure scared more than a few people, and amused plenty of others. Singing, dance parties, crazy pictures, discussions on how bra sizes work (for the guys' education), hand games like Slide... wow.
Also I think Jessica Sophie and I set the record for how many times we had to pee during the day.
We were really sad, though, that Disneyland doesn't do old-fashioned photographs anywhere in the park! I love dressing up and wearing those clothes, and we were really sad that they didn't have it...
So we rode Splash Mountain 3 times in a row from 11:30 to midnight to get the perfect picture. Which meant, of course, that we were all completely soaked at midnight when we had to walk back to the car and it was like 48 degrees. Picture 1 didn't come out well, and picture 2 they wouldnt even let us see because Julio had taken his shirt off so "it's not an image Disney would put their name on" but picture 3 was perfect. Of course, having had to listen to the singing 3 times in a row we were all kind of freaking out and had a huge water fight in the middle of the ride, too, and Sophie nearly fell out. Soooo much fun. And Steven gave his number to the hot ride operator that was checking him out =D
It was the perfect day.
Of course, that left me to write an 8 page cinema paper today. But it's finished. It's 2:30 in the morning. And I had a fantastic weekend.
