Volume 3 is out!
As from today, volume 3 of Karneval is officialy out in Japan!
On another note, I read at Mikanagi-sensei's blog that Hirato is 27 years old! I thought he was older XD

Having investigated the Niji Forest, where Nai and Karoku once lived, the group retreats. Later they come across Yotaka and Tsubame, twin brother and sister with whom Gareki used to live. Tsubame has been losing consciousness and it soon became a serious matter. At the same time mysterious murders occured in the town... Is Tsubame the criminal? Gareki is bewildered...

Random volume 3 spoilers:
Yotaka dies.
It was apparently Gareki who paid grandpa's hospital expenses. He seemed to really care for Tsubaki and the others. There's a lot emotional speech concerning Gareki's past. Now, I'm not sure who says this, but I assume it's Gareki (?): "Till this life of mine ends... You who could not fly, you who gave me wings... I'll fly in your place..." The Tsubaki arc is wrapped up.
Tsukumo in the inside illustration is cute according to the person who provided spoilers XD And then she writes "Mermaid! Mermaid!" and I'm lost... Tsukumo is drawn as mermaid or is pretty as a mermaid or...? Lol, dunno XD Onee-san (probably Eva?) looks cool. Gareki's costume is 柄わりぃ? XD lol, dunno this word? Help?
New characters make an appearance. We've already seen them in chapter 19: one with black hair and one with glasses. Tsukumo appears a lot in this volume too. And of course, the big secret of Yogi's patch is revealed.
