At the end of Score 67, Hitsuji told Nai to meet Hirato. Upon meeting Hirato, Nai says that he will work hard so that he could continue to stay with everyone. Hirato praises Nai on protecting Karoku and helping Karoku to regain his memories. He also says that Karoku says that he would go against Kafka and work with Circus.
The reason for summoning Nai is a letter from Yanari (remember that boy introduced in Chapter 25? Mikanagi-sensei sure loves bringing back character after their arcs are over huh). It is an invitation to a party 5 days later and there are 5 tickets in the envelope.
The second ship reaches the research tower. Yogi parts with Tsukumo, Gareki and Nai to go to his room. A nurse brings a repaired Yukkin (which silver!Yogi broke in Score 64). Yukkin has a new function so it can make the immediate area snow so now Yukkin has both warming and cooling functions.
Tsukumo asks about Yukkin’s memory of… Yogi. Luckily Yukkin has no recollection of the incident. Yogi was only told that Yukkin was sent for repair and if he knew that he broke it, he would be very sad.
MORE LIKE I DIDN’T HAVE TO BE REMINDED OF SCORE 64 WITH UPSET AND DISTRAUGHT SILVER!YOGI. Also, it’s really sad that Yogi is being lied to all the time ;A;
Scene switches to Vantam. Yanari receives Nai’s reply to his invitation. He’s really excited because it’s the first time receiving a letter from a friend. The chapter ends with Yanari saying that Nai and company would definitely have fun at a party that he had planned for them.
Not a very exciting chapter but it still managed to make me have feels. Maybe the research tower checkups are going to reveal… things.
