time is a crazy thing. It feels like 5 years is nothing, and everything. if someone had told me on my 29th birthday that "on your 30th birthday, your dad will be gone, you will be divorced and you will have just started dating the love of your life" I would have called bullshit. in the 10 year gap between sage graduation and finishing my masters I had a whole life. 6 years of marriage, buying a house, death, divorce, new love. all of these things happen so quickly and its like oh shit, where'd that time go.

my ring has an inclusion in it too. its a crescent moon shaped inclusion, but because its a blue diamond it looks silver, so I have a silver moon in a blue sky. Ian said he picked it specifically because of the inclusion because that meant that not only was it real, but someone dug it out of the earth and it was always meant for me. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I also totally know what you mean about night and day with regards to feeling loved and supported. part of the reason i didn't go to the first few retreats is that Bryan would have such a fucking fit if I wanted to anywhere without him. Ian encourages me to spend time with you guys, to go and do and be happy.

I think a good bachelor party for steve would be a private booster draft personally :)
