Graphics: Casting Call
Late entry for challenge #08 at landofart: Casting Call.
The following are my dreamcasts for
- Poppy Z. Brite's Lazarus Heart, which is a 'The Crow'-novel, and deals with a photographer in the SM scene of New Orleans whose gay lover is brutally killed (here is the back of the book) and for
- Susan Cooper's The Dark Is Rising (Yes, these are books for kids, and they're some of the best books I've ever read. )
Poppy Z. Brite's Lazarus Heart
I was considering Michael Fassbender, somehow because of Shame and Hunger, and because he's relatively tall and can pull off the longish hair, lol, AND has played with both Jemina Rooper and Nicholas Hoult... but really... it feels like everyone uses him right now... and that sorta puts me off...
And the cast for The Dark Is Rising by Susan Cooper:
[Mind you, in the books they're children, this is how I imagine them as 20somethings. Yeah. Like in a sequel for example. I'd like that... I made Bran, but the whitening of the hair (as he's an albino) somehow went all wrong, I'll have to put it back together...]
I've had no internet all day, it's incredible how muchhc I need it for all kinds of things. And I don't even mean hanging around lj all the time. It's incredible how many things I need to look up throughout the day because I don't know them!
