How come?

Let’s have something substance-less will we...
When I'm upset I cut my hair. Mostly because I’m too old or to poor for most of the other nasty shit one can do. It makes me happier in that shallow airhead kind of way.
Unfortunately when I woke up this morning I discovered what the crucial difference regarding my looks was between today and a couple of ( Read more... )

I can only vaguely remember watching Wayne's World, but the fact that I can - even after all these years - alone speaks volumes.

Also, the woes of getting your hair cut (maybe).
Let's suffer through this together, shall we?

Heh. It's a cultural phenomenon. If you ask about my music, then you get about 50 to 60% of your answer (if not more) from those movies, lol.
And I need to watch it again. Gosh... and the second part has Christopher Walken... so I must watch that one, too...
It's impossible that I haven't got them on DVD. It's just plain wrong.

*sigh*
There isn't really that much you can do with my hair, you know? u.u' It always looks sort of... off...
You planning a new haircut, too?

I don't know, I woke up last Saturday and felt the urgent need to get my hair cut. I can still feel that need tugging at my insides but on the other hand ... my hair just grows so incredibly slow.
I'm terrified it'll take another 18 years to grow back to a proper length when I cut it now ('cause I considered making it really really really short).

But maybe it's worth it even if it'll need a long time to grow back. If you think you'll look good with, and feel good, why not? :)
... it can't be 18 years...

But that's the point, I just don't know whether it'll look good on me or not. And if it doesn't, well, this will be some hard months/years to follow. ... So idk. I'm still not completely sure about it, yet. :s

Okay, maybe my hair has been growing 'normally' during my first years but seriously, since two or three years, I feel like it's stopped growing alltogether. (Which is really sad as I have always dreamed of long hair/ long dreadlocks but no, apparently that's not going to happen. :/)

Aw :( Who knows maybe you'll get a wachstumsschub? Is there such a thing for hair? ... hmm, maybe not... :/ maybe it is...

You know what you must do? Try out one of these computer programs (there must be some online, too) where you can put your face into a picture with a certain hairstyle to try and see what it looks like.

Girl, I do expect some more Wachstumsschübe, actually, otherwise I'd be really disappointed of my genes, believe me. :D

And hm. I never considered that option but I'll try it out most likely. Sounds like a way of at least somehow being able to predict what I will look like ... :D

Also, back to your hair! ... Did you get a haircut nonetheless?

Haha x) Good luck with that then! xD

It's not a perfect solution of course. I can see how they'll invent 'hologrammatic' hair style programs one day, hehe... so you could actually see what a style looks like on you in real... such a good idea from me...

I actually had cut it into a mullet (and it's not the sad Vokuhila thing, in case you may thing that) before I even posted this, lol.
And it really doesn't look half bad, neither do I really look like Garth Algar, lol, first thing my hair isn't quite that light xD
It quite suits me, it just doesn't look as good as it looked on me when I had my hair died black.
