The enemy of my enemy is my friend
Been talking to people, it really makes me feel quite sick when I hear them announce jeeringly how they're going to strongly support all teams they usually hate just so e.g. United doesn't win a single thing anymore.
Sporting spirit anyone? Team pride? Loyalty? Honour?
Is that normal? If yes, then I don't want to be. I support my club. I don't feel like I have to go to such extents to foster the hate against those teams that I dislike.
Where's the sense in that? Does it make your team more victorious? Bigger?
