by THOMAS DOZOL I'm fairly depressed today, physically exhausted, but not the good way. So many things are just way too annoying these days. Not to mention those things that can't even be described.
And now the game in about half an hour... The issue with Nani has affected me greatly. I worry about what his absence will mean for us today, and how it will affect the Portuguese NT. United hasn't played their best for some time, and yet he's been a key player. Over the last seaons, one could watch his development, his improvement from week to week. It makes me really happy to witness progress. It's tragic that he's suffered such an injury, for him personally and for the team.
EdiT: God... I look at the list and half of our team is missing...
EdiT: Aww, my bb, and the cross, and that tackle... guh + __,+
EdiT: Yes yes yesss.
EdiT: I really don't like the German commentator, he's the typical pretentious idiot and can't keep his thoughts about Barcelona and how they're top of the world to himself. As if anyone watching this game would like to be reminded of Barcelona, seriously.
But when he says "Rooney" it's like he was starting a car with the most powerful engine you can imagine...
EdiT: Van der Sar is... I don't even know... wow...
EdiT: Now there he's finally mentioned something intelligent: Wayne's 'technical abilities that are not emphasized nearly enough. Of course he's got strength to no end, but on the other hand also great finesse.'
EdiT: And here comes Aaron Ramsey! :))
EdiT: OMG! EdWIN! :O
EdiT: Djourou looks seriously injured after the collision with his team mate
EdiT: It was such a delightfully fair game so far. And now Scholes. I know most say that's him and we have to respect that, yadda yadda, and Hell, I respect him and the player he is, but I think it's bullshit that I have to respect the kind of behaviour he more often than just sometimes displays. There are just moments that do not call for such actions at all. He should show more decency at his age and with his experience.
Conclusion: I liked the game, a lot. It was tremendously entertaining. Arsenal came forward so often, had more ball possession than we, but never managed to make anything of it while we - thanks God, finally - were effective. Scholes ruined the ending for me.
My best get well wishes to Djourou!
