Just a short message for now. Because I think if I don't post it now I'll lose the urgency like the last time, and this is actually something that must be said one of these days.
Do you know what turns my stomach?
People who use existing artwork for their own artwork. Changing the colour slightly or making it glowy or adding a word does not make it your artwork if it has been artwork before that already.
This is not the same as taking some sports photo and adding effects, it's theft of an original idea. Someone has been creative before you, and you simply use that. Do you even consider what that makes you? It does not make you super-smart and a genius artist.
