I'd have to lead a fulfilling life in order to feel successful. By "fulfilling" I mean having a balance of: a job/career that allows you to do your part for others and makes you happy, and healthy, meaningful relationships not only with the people around you, but with yourself and with God.

Easier said than done, of course...but I believe it's worth striving for.

My two cents. Not sure if it's "correct", though :)

Deep question, my friend.
Of the top of my jet lagged mind, my first answer would be...
Taking the life and circumstances God has given you and living them to the hilt, walking through life with Him and not giving in to mediocrity. Experiencing the fullness of God in every circumstance.

How about you?

I like your answers :)

I guess lately I've just been caught up in measuring my life's success by what's written on my resume, and I don't seem to measure up. Ultimately though, I think success for me has to do with things of eternal value, which are nearly always in the form of relationships. Being a loyal friend, honoring daughter, faithful employee, compassionate stranger, wise steward, and hopeful believer would mean I lived my life with purpose, and successfully navigated the human existence.
