Way to be open and honest with the world about your decision to look online (something I'm having to get better at, seeing as how I'm now dating someone I met on one of those sites). I will tell you that lots of people say it took them months and months to meet someone on one of those sites... So I don't think you're incompatible.
What I DO think you are is unique, and dynamic, and empowered, and intimidatingly solid in who you are and what you believe. That's a lot for a mere mortal man to handle. You'll find one eventually, though.
So cool that you have this volunteer opportunity. Know you'll enjoy it.
And Puerto Rico--WHAT?? *jealous*
