For the first time since I've been afforded the right to vote I have actually been excited about the outcome of the election (at least the projected outcome). While I disagreed with some of the amendments passed and some of the candidates elected in previous years I never attacked the politics, faith, ethics, morality, or character of anyone who voted differently. In fact, I never brought it up at all. I never slapped a bumper sticker on my car, cold called members of the opposing party, or looked my friends in square in the eyes and asked how they could possibly call themselves followers of Christ having voted the way they did. Shame on everyone from both sides of the political spectrum who have allowed themselves to let party lines interfere with their ability to love, honor, and respect one another as fellow created beings. *shakes head* I have nothing left to say.
