i would have to say though, and mark i think you'll agree, that the NL central is the big east of major league baseball, its top to bottom the best division in baseball
i of course looked at all of the divisions when saying what i said about the NL Central, here is a list of what i feel is the downfall of the other divisions:
NL East- the NL east has been a division with strong promise but really no results, with the exception of the marlins world series a few years back the nl east teams have been met with large hype but little results
AL West- this was the division that initially caught my eye as a good division, as well it should, all the teams here could come out in first place as we saw last year with the race coming down to the last week, this really is a good division, its kind of hard to compare the depth though with there being only four teams and there being six in the NL central.
AL East- I would like to compare this division to the ACC, its got the dukes(yankees) and north carolinas(boston), but then it just trickles down to a couple of virginias(baltimore and the like) there isnt even a good wake forest here, and that is where i think this division hurts, its got the best of the best, but to be top to bottom the best division it falls short
