WOW - just wow.....
it has been a long while sense I grabbed a live album that comes close to "Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison", "The Goons - Live at the Black Cat" or "Two Man Advantage - Live at CBGB"
"Jerry Lee Lewis - Live at the Star Club, Hamburg" lives up to every bit of it's hype - start to finish
from the strutting (if you don't want Jerry's peaches - don't shake my tree)
to yelling at the band to keep up ("Play that thing right, boy" 0:10 into What I Say pt2)
to the frantic pace - it's just amazing everything is his uptempo and he sounds like he attacking the piano
but yeah - go get it.....
