(no subject)
Well, it's been a while. I've been either really busy or really bored for the past couple of weeks. I hate how time always slows down before something you're really looking forward to. In my case, that something was Christmas vacation (or "Winter Break", for those of you who are politically correct ass-hats). I desperately needed to get out of school and do nothing for a while. Which I have been doing. And it has kicked ass.
Christmas Eve was fun... lots of my family and my parent's friends came over, and we had roast tenderloin and mashed potatoes and this weird Jell-o stuff that my aunt makes that has lemon Jell-o and vegetables in it and is really REALLY good (talk about a run-on sentence, lol). Sarah came over too, and we hung out for a while before she had to go to her grandparent's house para Christmas.
Christmas morning, I woke up at 8 (actually, I was woken up at 8, but that doesn't really matter). I got about 600 pairs of new socks... ok, it was only about 15, but it seemed like a lot and I needed new socks. I love new sock feeling. They make your feet feel all nice and cozy and comfortable. I'm a fan. Then I got a bunch of new clothes. I also got Madden '07 for the Wii... it kicks major ass. It was touch getting the controls for a while at the beginning, but now I'm kicking ass and taking names. I was quite excited when I got it. Then we went over to my grandparent's house and had dinner there. They had this white chocolate cheesecake with raspberries in it... I had 3 pieces. It was so good. I want my mom to get the recipe, so that she can make it for when we have parties here (and i can eat the leftovers).
Last night I went over to Sarah's house. We watched Pirates II, and it was a good time. I felt really bad, cause she was sick, but I was also crossing my fingers that I wasn't going o catch it. She wasn't sure if she was contagious, but I decided that if I was going to get sick, it would be best if I did it now instead of missing school. As of now, I feel fine, but I'm still crossing my fingers.
I can't wait for College Bowl games to start... I love College football. I didn't watch much this year, which sucked, but I'm definitely going to watch at least of couple of Bowl games. Notre Dame is playing LSU on January 3rd, so I'm definitely going to catch that one. As for the others, it'll depend on when I have homework.
Speaking of homework... I should really be doing my APUSH notes or my Sociology paper, but I've been really unmotivated all day. I watched Hunt for Red October his morning, and played Madden for a while, and now I'm doing this... I just can't get started. Meh... we'll see. Maybe I'll just do it tomorrow.
