“What are we doing, exactly?” Ginny asked quietly, stretching her hands out until the tips of her fingers brush against the walls on either side of her. She feels the gentle pressure of Luna's hands against her shoulders as the other woman guides her through their new home. The blindfold wrapped securely around her eyes prevented her from seeing which room she was being led towards, and the blonde behind her had refused to tell her anything just yet.

“Do you truly wish to ruin your surprise?” Luna questioned, her tone slightly reproving. A small smile tugged at Ginny's lips as she gave a quiet laugh. Her lover really did enjoy her surprises.

When Luna's hands withdrew from her shoulders, Ginny repressed the desire to tug her blindfold off herself. There was the faint scent of smoke on the air of the room, and her eagerness to see what Luna had gotten up to while she was at work was rather overwhelming. “You can look now,” said her melodic voice, as her hands brushed against Ginny's cheeks to pull the strip of cloth away.

Opening her eyes, Ginny blinked against the change in light before focusing on the beautiful grey eyes in front of her. Luna was smiling sweetly at her, and she hardly spared the room a glance as she noticed the younger witch's lack of clothing. “Happy birthday,” Luna murmured, wrapping her arms around Ginny's neck, only a moment before leaning up to kiss her lips.
