Quil/Embry: a cool glass of lemonade

His chest heaved and sweat beaded before sliding down his tanned, tight skin. Embry found it hard to concentrate as he carried the glass of lemonade to his best friend, his hand shaking as he offered Quil the glass. "Here," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "You look hot."

His eyes widened at what had came out of his mouth. "I, uh, I mean…" he stuttered as Quil reached for the glass, his finger tips brushing over his hand.

"I know what you mean," Quil replied, grinning that secretive little grin Embry had come to love. (99)

I don't usually like this pairing, but ALRKFJDSAD this makes me want to ship them SO HARD. Poor Embry. Double meanings FTW!
