Victoria moans, the ruby liquid dripping slowly down her chin. Hovering over Riley’s thrashing body, her crimson eyes grow bright with lust.
The slight crescent shape in his neck is flaming red and fingers scrabble at it uselessly. Blood, now covering them both, flows from the boy’s neck.
That blood is their bond now; it holds his loyalty, her sanity.
She wants him to obey, he wants her to love.
Blood is their union now, and both lust for it; Victoria for Bella’s and Riley for Victoria’s.
In his final moments, Riley’s blood is the least of Victoria’s worries and he realizes she never loved him at all.
