30kisses. It's au Pollo Loco but only with a few spoilers. And yes I know the summary sucks. If you can come up with a better one I'm all ears.
Ben stood at the altar looking up at the statue of the Blue Lady. Sensing someone watching him, he tensed and slowly turned around. “Max.” Ben said. I can’t do this now. Ben thought.
“Ben why? Why are you doing this?” Max asked.
Ben just stared at her. He scanned the room for a quick exit and ran out. Max ran after him but he was gone.
Ben sat on top of the Space Needle, looking out at the city below. He hadn’t expected to run into Max. He’d hoped he wouldn’t. She was the only one that could stop him. And seeing her, here today, it changed things. Ben turned his head looking behind him, seeing Max.
Max walked down the roof of the Space Needle, coming to sit down beside Ben. She placed a hand on his shoulder. “Ben I know what your doing. Let me help you. Please.” Max pleaded.
Ben looked at her, expecting to see disappointment, anger, hate even but instead all he saw was love and understanding. He looked away. A part of him knew what he was doing was wrong but another part of him didn’t care. He wanted to stop. He really did. He just wasn’t sure he was strong enough.
“Ben I can help. If you’ll just let me in. Please.” Max said.
Ben looked at her and just nodded. He didn’t have to say anything for Max to know that he was saying he wanted her help. Max stood up and extended her hand to him. “Come on I’ll take you back to my place.” Max said. Ben took her hand and stood up.
Max walked into her apartment and found a note tacked to the wooden post next to the door.
Out with my lickety boo. Don’t expect my home tonight.

Max smiled and waved Ben inside. “Make yourself comfortable.” She told him. Ben walked over and took a seat on the couch. Max came and sat next to him. They just stared at each other for a while. Then Ben leaned in and kissed her. He expected her to pull away but she didn’t. Instead she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back. The kiss lasted for a few minutes then they broke apart and just looked at each other. That kiss and awakened feelings that Max didn’t even know she had. She sighed and snuggled into him resting her head on his chest. She knew she’d have to deal with these feelings eventually but for now she had to concentrate on getting him better. She’d deal with everything else later.
