While doing research for this book I want to write for my seminar in the novel class I'm going to be taking, I discovered this at the top of a local Catholic church's webpage:
"Low-Gluten Hosts Available
We would like to inform those persons who suffer from celiac disease or wheat allergies that we have low-gluten hosts as authorized by the U.S. Bishops conference available. Please inform us before Mass begins of your special dietary need."
Personally, I've always wondered if there was a vegetarian version available.
