What up
Ok I'm sitting here listening to Musiq Soulchild. I just got through watching "The Villiage" for the first time. That movie was good, it was a little crazy, but good. I could believe how much stuff happened it was soooooooo elaborate the whole plot. I would give a synopsis but yall just need to sit down and watch it. I have the movie so if you wanna watch it at my house thats cool. Anyhoo on to my day.... I had an AP test at 8 am it started at about 8:45 this morning. I went to zero period but not really because I was just sitting there waiting on Court and Matt. I think I am going to work on my project. Everyone elses are really good. Well when we finally got to the test it was interesting. We had multiple choice, free response, and 2 sight singing questions. The hardest part of the test was the melodic and harmonic dictation. (Where we heard music and have to write out the correct notes and rhythms) I was "ready" for it but not really because the tempos that the song was in was too much for my own good. I am going to specifically ask my private lessons teacher to drill me on music theory during the next year.... Vicentae and I recieved one of the scores for the halftime show. I think that is so cool because usually I wouldn't get them until we had friggen band camp no matter how much I badgered Davis or Ryan. Sterbenc may be new and some people might not agree with her teaching style but she is good and comitted and she knows what she is doing. I hope we don't have to do those rough drafts for Debra. I don't feel like typing for her. But on to what I know yall are anxious to hear about ..................the PROM!!!
Ok so my day started off at about 8:30 am on Saturday after about 4 hours of sleep.....I was kind of anxious......you know the deal. But anyway, I got up and to a bath and shaved and did all that stuff and waited for my mother to wake up. She got ready and then we were off. At first I thought that we were going to go straight to fayetteville so that I could get my nails done. But I had forgotten that I had to pick up the corsage and boutineer. We drove all the way to downtown Jonesboro (N. Main Street) to the florist. At first my mom didn't like the flowers but once on my wrist and his lapel it was really nice. So after we went there we went to Fayetteville and by the time I got there it was 11:30 am.....mind you I had a hair appointment at 12. So I was getting nervous thinking I would miss my appointment.....I was late......a good hour off schedule but she still fit me in and treated me like a princess. While I was there I saw Mega and Jessica getting their hair done. Their hair looked tooooo cute. I had to call Georgia and tell her to delay her coming but really I should have just told her to come on at 5 because she might have made it if I would have said that ehhhh.......SORRY GEORGIE!! But anyhoo I was in a hurry to get dressed by 5:30.....I was putting on my makeup and it looked really good. I took down my hair and put on my dress and I was like omg I'm about to go to prom. So I got ready finally and walked around upstairs to make sure that I didn't have anything missing and Jay and Mrs. Brenda and his aunt and uncle came to see me. I was soooo excited to see him in his all white tux. He looked really good. (Not that he doesn't everyday!) So next we went outside to take pictures and we did that and then waited for Georgia to come by. She didn't get there by the time the we had left and so we had to leave. We arrived at Jasons house and took some more pictures. Then we got in the limo and it was fun. The driver was nice and he had the music bumping. Mrs. Brenda had to help me into the truck because my dress was so big. hehehehe. ...(Oh hey you guys are out of school now) Anyhoo.....we drove on down to the Westin and had a blast we were early to the prom and then we went in after Jason and Justin retrieved the cameras. We walked in grabbed a table and then munched on some really good finger food. With real silverware!! How about that! So after we got up and danced. After a while it started to get more and more crowded. And the dance floor started to get sooo crowded that Justin and I couldn't really move and people kept stepping on my dress. They had the senior walk and they crowned king and queen and they had a dance. We joined them hald way thru and danced to a block of slow jams. They started to pick up the pace towards the end. The prom was really nice. I was happy with the $90 that I payed to go. After we went back to Jason's house and then debated on whose car to take. We got into Clayton's car and went to Chik-fil-a just in time to see their drive thru close because at midnight it was sunday......DARN IT! But anyhoo we went on to the bowling alley and then chilled there. We were payed up until 3 am so we took well advantage of it. A lot of people from the prom were there. I tohught we were being so original......ha.....after bowling everyone was really tired and we headed home. They dropped off Justin and then myself and I got home. Called and told people I was home and took off my dress and went to bed and I didn't get up to 5 the next afternoon lol.......
