NEW DRAMA: Pintokona (Aaah, JOHNNY's guys)

May 17, 2013 08:52

A new TBS drama for Tamamori Yuta, Nakayama Yuma, Jesse, and Matsumura Hokuto!! The drama is "PINTOKONA"/ぴんとこな! It will start on July 2013, 9 PM, Thursday.
It is based on a manga, the story revolves in the world of Kabuki. It is said that it will be the first drama to be on stage, Kabuki, which shows the traditional arts of Japan.
The main characters will be played by Tamamori Yuta (Kis-My-Ft2) and Kawashima Umika (9nine). Nakayama Yuma will be the rival of Tamachan!! :)

This is from the synopsis of the manga: (Mangafox)

In the world of Kabuki, where family social standings are highly valued, Kyonosuke is inept even though he is born as the son of a duke of a famous household. Ichiya while being born in a family that has no connection to Kabuki, is trying to move from the absolute lowest rank to the top using just his ability. Through some kind of karma, these two completely opposite boys have fallen in love with the same girl, Ayame.
That’s where the story begins.
Kyonosuke, who wants to be liked by the Kabuki loving Ayame, cries tears of regret because he would throw away all his powerful connections if he could only have real ability. But what if Ichiya, who wants to be the center of Ayame’s attention, was adopted into a famous household…?

Wow!! This will be a love story!! I totally love the Johnny's guys who are in this drama!! What more can we ask for? Tamachan and Yuma plus the duo, Hokku and Jesse!!! And again, Hokuto is in this drama too, he's everywhere. I think he receives more roles. Hmmm. Good job!!
I am excited!! And like the other dramas, I am looking forward for this!!

I want many more juniors!! Lol. Thanks to Danielle for posting this on facebook. :))

Ako Shimaki's (Boku ni Natta Watashi) shōjo manga series Pin to Kona is getting a live-action television adaptation that will premiere in July. Kis-My-Ft2 idol group member Yūta Tamamori (Gokusen's Ryōta Takasugi, Nobunaga no Chef's Ken) will star in the series as Kyōnosuke Kawamura, the handsome son of a noble family. Idol group NYC member Yūma Nakayama (Piece - Kanojo no Kioku) will play Ichiya Sawayama, a talented kabuki novice from no notable family, and 9nine group member Umika Kawashima (Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge's Pyro) will play the kabuki-loving heroine Ayame Chiba. The romance manga follows both kabuki actors as they fall in love with the same girl.
