Pink to Gray Movie! :D
Shigeaki Kato's (NEWS) first novel "Pink to Gray" will be having a movie adaptation starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Yuto Nakajima, and it's Yuto's silver screen debut. Shige wrote the novel 5 years ago and didn't dream that it would be turned into a movie. The novel already has a manga adaptation. The shooting started mid-January and is expected to be released on 2016. The cast also includes Masaki Suda, Kaho, Kishii Yukino, and Yagira Yuya.
The story is about two best friends who entered the entertainment industry. However, one became a star while the other gets left behind to supporting roles.
I haven't got the chance to read the novel, but with this movie, the fans will be able to see how the story will go. I think the story is really interesting, and maybe it can be weird. Lol. I've read about the news last night when I was about to sleep, I'm glad I opened my twitter. I am happy and excited for Yuto for getting his first movie role. I know that he will do his best! Also, Shige-sensei, your awesome! I hope there will be an english translation for your novel so international fans can read it too! XD
