Who is Johnny's Jr. No.1?
Fortunately, I managed to watch Fight! YOUtachi ～ Johnny's Jr. No.1 Kettei sen via streaming site without problems of buffering and such. I kind of expected much, but it was worth the watch.
There were 100 juniors all in all, how I wish I could name each one of them. 100 juniors gathered in a gymnasium in their casual clothes, it was nice to see. There are faces I don't recognize at all and the video isn't HD. There were no signs of Bakaleya guys, Travis Japan, Genki, Kishi, Jinguji, and the others. The youngest of the juniors were 11 years old. And the oldest was 21, I think?
There were fours stages. The first was dance where Goseki demonstrated a dance choreography for SMAP's SHAKE. All of them danced together and there was also a free dance part. Only 20 juniors were luckily chosen by Goseki together with a female judge. Matsukura Kaito, Takahashi Fu, Takahashi Kaito, Hirano Sho, Nakamura Reia, Okamoto Kauan, Anderson Casey, Motodaka Katsuki, Vasayegh Wataru, Hayashi Ren, Nagase Ren, Matsuda Genta, Tajima Shogo, Kawaguchi Yu, Morita Masahiro, Kawasaki Koki, Hanzawa Akira, Akiyama Daichi, Mizuki Inoue, Tamamoto Fumito were the 20 who passed the first stage. Hayashi Ren and Takahashi Fu were really good, they are the ones who caught my attention. I love how Fu moves flawlessly. Katsuki even cried. Awww. It's sad that they only had to choose 20, goodbye to those 80 juniors. All of them tried their best, I saw many of them were soaking with sweat. But they wouldn't be in J&A if they can't dance well, right? Haha.
The second stage was the test of physical fitness lead by Tsukada! Tsuka chan impressed everyone when he crossed the basketball court by doing back flips. The juniors had to run 30m at full speed. I didn't understand it very well, but they have to run twice and it was something about their time. Takahashi Kaito, Matsuda Genta, Matsukura Kaito, Nagase Ren, Motodaka Katsuki, Hirano Sho, Tajima Shogo, Kawasaki Koki, Anderson Casey,and Okamoto Kauan were the juniors who made it to the next stage! The Kanjuus were making their way! I wonder if there were other Kanjuus aside the two of them in those 100. :3
The third stage was talk lead by Totsuka with a female guest. It was so cute when she got close to the juniors, she scare Kawasaki. Haha. The challenge was, they were shown random interesting pictures of A.B.C-Z and were ask to explain what was happening in the picture. Ren was the first one who answered. I wish I could understand what they were saying. XD Before judging time, the female guest was really into Kauan. Hahaha. She's biased. XDD And the top 5 who will battle in the last stage were Nagase Ren, Hirano Sho, Takahashi Kaito, Okamoto Kauan, and Kawasaki Koki. Kawasaki is so cute, yes, I mean it, he's really cute.
The last stage was singing ability lead by Hashimoto and a guest judge. Each one chose a song to sing. Kawasaki Koki sang Aoi Sanmyaku. His voice is still high and very cute, obviously. Haha. I find his voice sweet and calm. Well, kids' voices are like that. Haha. Takahashi Kaito sang Kaimono Boogie. I'm not familiar with the songs, actually all of the songs they sang, I'm not sure if he sang the song well. Nagase Ren sang Tayori ni shi te masse. And his voice is really great! He has a deep voice when he's speaking, but his singing voice has a different feel. OMG, I love him! Hirano Sho sang Mune no Furiko. I'm already familiar with his voice since I watched Shark. And lastly, Okamoto Kauan sang Tokyo Bugi ugi. He quite a performer. :')
Then, the winner was announced! Nagase Ren! His expression was surprised. He couldn't believe it. That was funny.
Then, he came out to the stage in white suit. And performed Murasaki by Jin Akanishi. A.B.C-Z backed dance for him. And after, they sang 5 stars. It was only a short performance.
Juniors must always to their best. Their biggest dream is to be able to debut. Being No.1 doesn't really assure that Ren will be debuting in the future, right? Haha. And if he'll be able to, just make sure he's with Daigo and Ryusei. Hahaha. It was fun to watch. :)
