Shark 2
As soon as I finished Shark season 1, I already started watching the season 2. The first episode was last Saturday and I think I'll manage to watch each episode per week. arisu_subs will be subbing the dorama and I'm thankful. :)
I'd say the first episode was too "fast" and a lot of things happened. The first part was Teppei and Kai of SHARK conversation. It turned out that they're still not debuting because Mizuki has lot his voice and have to go on an operation. I was saddened by that fact. The other members have their own stuff to be busy with. So, "what would become of SHARK?" I just feel like, after everything that had happened, it ended without debuting, they are on the verge of debuting but there's always a problem. Oh well, I understand, there's nothing I can if Mizuki can't sing anymore, right? Huhu.
And now, here's Cloud5, another band who is also on their way to major debut (wait, are they already debuted?). They are very popular with the crowd. I still can't memorize their character names so I'll use their real names. Haha. Aran's role is an overconfident vocalist who likes to play with girls, a vain one. He doesn't really care as long as he can sing and they'll sell. He even asked Ichika for a date, lol. He's also a problematic one just like Mizuki. Haha. And Keigo is the drummer of the band. I still don't know a thing about his role and he only got a few lines on the first episode. Yasui, the guitarist, cares about things. It's important for him to have their own style of music, and he contradicted that song (made by Shige) which was altered by the producer. He always says he's quitting whenever there's a problem, but this time, it's different. Shige, the bassist and the main character, has something about his past (again) that made him numb. He doesn't care as long as they can sell and even if his song was changed. Yasui and Shige were already together since high school and even before that. They are living together with Kaede (from E-girls, maybe a friend too!) They know each other very well, I believe something about their past will unveil soon. Oh, they will be manage by Ichika-san, because Shark is undergoing a hiatus. T.T
The band had a quarrel about the song. The original was a ballad but the producer altered it into something the sound would sell. Only Yasui was against it, because it wasn't the style of Cloud5. The conflict continues, and it reached to the point that Yasui is seriously quitting leaving his guitar broken. Now, they lost their guitarist and their shows will be unsure. And also, there's this producer who wants to put up some drama. I guess there will be a rival thing between two bands.
And near the end, the scene where Kai said to Teppei that he will be withdrawing from Shark shocked me. I was also wondering how will Shark interact with the present band, so this is how it will be. However, I feel frustrated because after all that had happened he'd be leaving Shark. Awww. Now that he will be joining Cloud5 to replace Yasui's position. I don't know if this will stay as it is for the next episodes, then what about Yasui?
The story is getting interesting. I hope they wouldn't rush anything. The story will be getting more complicated I believe. Oh, about the cast, don't you find the four of them awkward together in a band? I'm not used to seeing Keigo, Yasui, Shige, and Aran together, a total mix up. Yasui and Aran was together in 49 (which I haven't finished yet). There's this something I feel, like tension?, especially between shige and yasui. Haha. Maybe this is just nothing. I hope they'll get more comfortable working with each other. Haha. XD
