VICTORY!

I'm having far too much of a good week for my own good. Seriously, this week has been going so well that I'm starting to think it's all happening inside the recesses of my mind in some wonderful dream-like trance.

Okay, maybe that's going too far. It's just been too well of a good week and it just seems pretty unnatural knowing my luck... Although it is nice to have a winning streak every once in awhile, that's for sure.

But yeah, if you read the last entry I went to my interview at Gamestop and showed up a bit earlier than I expected and ended up looking around for a long time while the manager finished up paperwork with a new hire. My interview ended up happening a little while after four but I didn't mind since I didn't really have anywhere to go after that. So after the guy came out to enter information into the computer, I went in and the interview was simple and I was asked a few questions which I gave detailed and verbose answers to, which were also funny in their own way as well and when the interview was over... I got hired right off the bat.

Seriously, he did. He wanted me to start next week and he had me fill out my paperwork right then and there and I got scheduled to work on Monday. By the time it was over, I was happy and felt like I accomplished my goal but at the same I was a bit surprised that I was hired so quickly and with hardly any reference checks too... Oh well, I'm not gonna worry about that right now.

But yeah, this whole week has worked out way too well. First, I get a job at A.C. Moore, then I passed the driver's permit test despite having to run back and forth between Peabody and Beverly to get all the right forms to prove who I was after recieving some flack from a receptionist (I swear to god, the people who work in DMVs were hired to make you NEVER want to visit the DMV. It's like airport security!) and finally I've gotten a job at a place that I've wanted to work at for a while and I didn't have to wait for it.

Is this the best week ever? Maybe... Let's hope I can get Holga cameras at Calumet in Boston tomorrow. There'd better be some fucking Holgas there.
