Right now I'm up in the computer lab of Mass Art sitting in front of a Mac that is currently burning my movie for Visual Language II onto a DVD...

Normally this would be alright because I'm getting my work done and I'm doing what needs to be done, but there is a bit of a problem here. You see I was supposed to burn both the iMovie and Quicktime file of my film onto one DVD but it seems that it will not be possible because both of them are rather large files.

How large? Try 4.5 gigabytes. The DVDs I have are only 4.7 gigs and it is physically impossible to stick both onto a DVD because both files are too big.

So, I'm only going to be able to burn the iMovie file because the Quicktime file would have taken far too long to burn onto a DVD. It would have taken an hour to do that and since I only have about twenty minutes left until they close the computer lab, I'll have to go ask a friend if they could come downstairs so I could borrow their Mac laptop to burn the fucking Quicktime file once I get back to the Residence.

Currently the iMovie DVD is chugging along, taking it's sweet time since it's got a 1X DVD-R burner built into it... 1x DVD-R.

...

And doctors wonder why aneurisms happen in the first place.

Fortunately, it's reaching the end of the spectrum (But I doubt it, since it's probably going to write several tracks instead of just one.) so I might be able to go home and harass my friend to let me use their Mac because this entire school uses Macs and it puts me at a great disadvantage when it comes to doing projects because I can't do them in my HOME ('Cause I'm a fucking PC user and Mac OS can't be put on a PC and as far as I know there aren't any video editing programs that let me edit or read iMovie files on a PC.) and this could all be easily done if I could do them on my PC and I would be able to finish that stupid essay for Professor Scibilia, make that valentine for my girlfriend even though it doesn't seem like I really have the time to do it and work on my comic that needs to be finished before the end of the month!

But NO, all projects for visual language II must be done in iMovie and since I don't own a Mac I have to come over to the school to work in iMovie because the entire school uses Macs and nothing but Macs and so I'm frustrated and overwhelmed because people think Macs are a superior computer for WORK!

BUT THEY AREN'T! If you build a PC with all the right hardware you can make a computer that's good enough to be a work computer and as long as you're not downloading music from Napster or Limewire or using AOL (Which kills all computers.) or downloading porn, you'll have a machine that's faster and much more recent than a Mac and you'll be able to do all your work on a PC and never know the fucking difference!

So in short, I abhor Macs. I know a few people who use them and love them but after this I officially despise Macs with a passion.

1x DVD-R... What the fuck is that shit?

EDIT

Okay, so I tried burning the quicktime file onto a DVD from my friend's iMac. Guess what? The damn thing doesn't work, it won't play the video in full, it stops after four seconds and plays the sound only. Not only that but I tried burning the iMovie file onto a DVD...

It still doesn't work.

The fucking thing still doesn't work. It won't open on the DVD and it says you have to pull it from the CD onto the hard drive which takes at least an hour to do.

Okay yeah... This puts me at a real disadvantage. I hope my professor will understand and let me try and make up for it during class because this really isn't good.

FUCK.
