Sometimes my dreams really are more interesting, more enjoyable, than my waking life. The things my sub-conscious (and semi-conscious mind, through lucid dreaming) come up with are often spectacular, if not a little far-fetched.
The thing is, even the most simple of action in a dream is fun. Walking: I have the most incredible sights, usually of blue oceans and yellow-sanded beaches. Lying down: I have a banner of golden stars that look like small explosions of paint across an ever moving black sky.
The landscapes in my dreams are to die for, the people (usually real people made out with fantastical characteristics) are amazing and everything just feels...interesting.
ANYWAY...
Last night I went to the "Sunset Room" (it was dress like a school-girl themed, and I tried to get in saying I was dressed like a public school girl, but Ben just said "nice try". Boo, usually my wit gets me what I want.) Anyway, the scene was alright but for some reason after two hours I wasn't digging being there.
To make matters worse, the Wobble Skanz did a remix of Rihanna's "Rude Boy". Sweet God of Mercy, no. I have heard that song more times than anyone should. (The only time I find that song enjoyable is when Petula and I are dancing to a remix).
It comes down to:
I
Hate
Electro
House
Luckily, my face wasn't pealed off by the awesome sounds of Wobble Skankz.
