Wait, what?!

I remember when my brother and I were little kids, we would always go to my mom's room on Saturday nights and play cards or watch a movie until my Dad got home from work. One day, my mom bought a concert DVD called Folk Songs for us to watch. It was a mix of both Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English songs so that all of us could sing along at some point.

Of course, eventually, Sam and I grew up, and we started spending less time with our parents and more time with our computers (not saying that's a good thing or a bad thing; it's just a change that happened). Recently, I read a Klaine fic that I wish I could remember the name of, but it's pretty recent. Blaine sang a song to Kurt and I recognized the lyrics as ones that I had sang as a child. This was kind of a shock for me. I thought those guys on the DVD were just singing random songs, but apparently, they were singing... classics?

I can't remember all the songs and I'd rather not barge into my parents' room at 2 in the morning trying to find the DVD, but here are some of the songs I do remember.

Not sure all these songs count as "folk", but then again, iTunes lists Theresa Sokyrka as "rock" so...
