 Just a quick shout:

I've recently become involved with The New Prospect Players, a community theater group in Norwood. Made up of parents, alumni, and community members, the group strives to put on quality work in Norwood as well as raise money for the Norwood public schools' drama program.  We recently performed "The Man Who Came to Dinner" and not only was it a really fun time, it was also very well received. For anyone in the area who is looking to become involved with a great theater group, we are holding auditions THIS WEEK for a one-act play festival.  The festival will be made up of original works by local and regional playwrights and a couple of published works, including Ives's "Sure Thing" and Durang's "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls."  Auditions are Tuesday July 15th and Wednesday July 16th at 7pm at the Savage Center in Norwood.  The shows are going up the first weekend in October.

Should be a good time. If you want more info, you can see the call for actors on netheater411.com; you may need to search "New Prospect Players" to quickly find the audition call.  You can also find us on Facebook to keep up with all the goings-on.
