SAIGONO YUKASOKU

I LOVED IT. watched yesterday, but was too dlkjfkjdlkfj for comment.

When I finished watching first part and still had to wait for second part to download, friend of mine told me that this special was THE WORST and she'll NEVER forgive scriptwriters for it. That's when I pretty much started to hyperventilating---er, okay, not that. But I really got scared that they will pull this die-for-people's-sake-shit in this special where terrorists was more than... weak. I was tottaly o_owhut? faced when terrorist saw two wandering around building people and just run after them, not even fast enough :\ Like, doesnt he have a gun? What about 'HEY! STAY THERE, OR I'll KILL YOU' shout? Or when Nino opened that door and let people out? They didnt even hurt him, nor his boss to show their power. They just scolded them. Terrorists dont do that!!

so when special finished without ANYONE dead AT ALL I was so relived I couldnt belive it xD

Then I asked my friend, what made her so furious. And she said, that with this SP Arashi was showing to watchers that terrorism is a okay if you do it with good intentions, and that is, obviously, a no-no. Thouth I agree with her on this point, you CAN see it this way if you squint real hard, but I didnt get this kind of message watching this special. Because those guys didnt hurt anyone and if not Meisa!character's doing's and if not police's doings, who delayed big!boss, all those people would have just harmlessly sit there, until boss arrive. No one were yelling at them or pointing guns on them exept for few minutes in the begginig. And all the yelling and gun pointing got only Nino and Sho, in the end. And, when Sho!character saw how scared people were, and how they got hurt? He went against their own plan to let people out, even if that meant danger for them to be revealed before their plan was completed. And then, they went into police's embrace, full aware that what they did was a no-no. Special didnt make me think that what they did was okay. Not even close :\ Even characters themselves knows that even if they didnt harm anyone, they are still guilty. So, I dont think that this special was showing their doings as 'terrorism is okay'. It's more... like 'Maou'. it has some 'Maou' feel in it.

I really liked this special. Only when I finished watching it, I understood their porno posters, which just didnt looked like posters for heavy, serious sp. Understood their not angsty nor sad theme song and Aiba's 'fantajiiiii' :) Also fantastic opening, with very-game-like-music on the background? Really, this kind of opening made me really wish for superheroes Arashi movie. Not like yatterman, but some really cool strong movie, with boys having some cool superpowers and fighting crime with it >8D Now I am adding this to my wishlist of Ohmiya dorama, Aiba&Nino dorama and Nino&Aoi Yu dorama/movie/sp. WAAANT.

okay, returning to saigono yakusoku:
SHOCK factor was really strong. I really was shoked, and this shock makes this special really great. Because even if you see that there's something not-simple with Sho and Ohno, who could have expected that Aiba, Nino and Jun were more than just good guys who just happened to be there? When terrorist-leader were talking with boss, I figured that it was Ohno before he took off his mask, but I didnt want to belive it xD He was really short and round for scary terrorist, and his intonations were SO OHNO (drama!ohno, I mean, even if his voice was changed, his intonations screamed Naruse Ryo xD). But heck I was SO. MUCH. SHOCKED. AT AIBA. And then on Jun and Nino. Oh the shock. And also fist minutes of it, when I was like OH MY GOD THEY FINALLY GOT BAD-GUYS-CHARACTERS IN DRAMA!------OR MAYBE NOT \0_0/. So here my huge respect to makers. I REALLY didnt expect that, at all. It was YEARS since I was THIS shoked with plot twist.

Loved beginning. Oh-chan's hand, Jun-pon's perm, Aiba being Aiba, Nino and his coolness, Sho and his bun <3

I loved Aiba's character and all his screen time, all of it :) Because he was 10000000% Aiba. And when he called to police to say that doors will be open for some time and gave wrong doors number, I was laughing hysterically xDDDD Off course he did that on purpose, but we didnt know that yet xD It was just like yet another oh-not-so-helpfull-call-from-toilet-guy xDDDD

Ah, yes, about Arashi being Arashi. This special was... SO MUCH AU. They was SO MUCH like themselves, especially in the end. That's why I dont remember even one of their character-names xD It seemsed like live action of Arashi au fic xD

Loved Sho-chan the salaryman xD He was so cute when that woman said that 5 minutes have passed xDD And when door didnt open and they both jumped trying to make it react xDDDD It all was super cute. Also when he stood on that table begging to release sick and injured people, he did great, too :) Really liked his first weak 'onegai shimasu!' when terrorist yelled at him xD

Loved part with Nino opening a door x3 It was quite heroic when you dont know terrorists all abouts <3 and how he noticed Aiba's mistake with coffe x'D

Loved Arashi interacting in the end, when boss got outside for speech and so on. Releasing their last hostages, asking them for help, crawling *_* They really did great, it was so natural, like real talk, not acting. Like it wasnt part of special, but like Arashi were crawling in vent after shooting was over xDDDD AND. Nino crawling after Ohno. Why I am not surprised?

Also I need subs, because there was a lot of parts i didnt unredstood clearly |D

So, all in all, I am very pleased with this special. Will re-watch it for sure, more than once. And I see why aiba called it fantasy, it's really best word to describe it. Not a scary, serious special, with people in tears, scared to death, and terrorists shooting and yelling and killing, but fantasy with very impossible plot, weak police force, shocking twist and no one harmed in the end :)

Will do capsfilled post later. Or after subs will be out.
